Default 06-08 wood trim options?

I have spent more time then anticipated today researching this stuff. I understand what I am looking for is the "bird's eye dark maple" wood trim as I have the regular cherry colored stuff. I have found endless amounts of threads from 08-13' of similar requests and questions inquiring. All of them have come to dead ends, a business no longer offering anything, ebay links that are dead, complaints about inconclusive overlay kits, dead picturetrail photo's, ect.

My question here; I have an 08'. Is there anywhere in existence or anyone with this trim who wants to sell it/swap it for the redish colored stuff? Do they make a drivers window switch panel in this color for 06-08 anywhere? I have a friend who wraps professionally, short of vinyl wraps, I'd rather get this finish if available on OEM parts. Can anyone give valid links or guidance to this stuff or what my options are with businesses that still operate?

If I recall correctly, the dark wood will fit the center console fine, but the door switches will be a problem. 09+ have different connectors/switches (at least the drivers switches anyways) so it's not exactly plug and play. The passenger and rear switches may plug and play, although I'm not entirely too sure as it's been a while since I looked it up myself (which is probably why I gave up on it if I had to take a guess).

I know on eBay they sell the sticker wood trim kits where you can pick whatever color you want and just put it on top of your existing trim. I imagine it'd look fairly tacky though as it wouldn't sit flush.

I'm with you. I refuse to do the decal stuff. I would end up seeing an edge on the trim and it would drive me insane. My options as I see it, use OEM stuff or vinyl wrap worst case so it sit's flush and doesn't have hard edges. I even saw some people do base/clear paint on their trim pieces. I'm not dead set on anything yet, just exploring my options and my searching was relatively inconclusive or outdated info.

Thanks for the comments on the drivers window panel, that is roughly what I extracted as well. So OEM stuff is going to be a no-go in that specific color I gather. I really like the look of that stuff, I have black interior, so I might go for a black carbon fiber wrap and the F-sport shift **** an call it good. Nothing too crazy.

I ordered an F-Sport shift **** last night (PTR51-53080) and a matched high gloss CF vinyl wrap material. I have a friend who professionally wraps and I will have him do the 5 trim pieces on my car. Total cost was $20 for vinyl and $67 for shift ****. After digging and seeing how many HUNDRED each individual trim piece was, I have no issue with a quality vinyl and $1000 plus in my pocket for other mods.

My limited searching also confirmed the drivers switch panel is different for 09+ so the Bird's Eye Maple finish I specifically wanted, seemingly isn't happening on any 06-08 models. Hope this helps someone in the future.

I can get you silver CF ISF interior for 300.00. He doesn't have the newer wood.

Thank you for the response. I'll pass for now, I just ordered matched CF stuff to add onto mine. If anything is off, I'll get back to you Wednesday when it shows up (2 days out). I could pay $300 but not interested in anything more expensive. That would be for all 5 pieces? I'm assuming IS-F has it in the same places the 350 has wood?

Yeah , five pieces. He said its mint. I MAY be interested but worry it will just blend in with my grey leather. Lol. He would want your factory trim in return. He has other goodies too but hasn't posted them here. Megan midpipe , ( testing on my car to see if I like the sound) weather tech mats , fsport axle back , 1g1 diffuser with gloss black center , and I think 2012 tail lights.
