Considering a high mielage IS250SE
Hi all,
firstly, my sincere apologies if my questions have been answered in numerous other threads already so please do point me in the right direction to avoid an unnecessary new thread!
I am in the process of purchasing a 2007 IS250se with 228000kms (approx 141000 miles) and its in incredibly good condition. It goes beautifully too and you'd never think that you're behind the wheel of a 10 year old vehicle!
Is there anything that one should look out for with this vehicle with that sort of mileage?
Realistically, if I keep it properly maintained how many more miles can this vehicle clock up? I know this depends on past maintenance but so far the books look good.
Is there anything that usually starts going wrong around that mileage with this model?
I'm incredibly excited about purchasing this vehicle but want to make sure that I've covered all my bases.
Thank you all in advance for your help

Thanks all for steering me towards the right threads!
I went and took it for a spin again and gave it another once over. The dealer has agreed to respray the bumpers as both are in pretty bad shape as well as replace the rear shocks as they're on their way out.overall it's in great condition for a 10 year old car.
I also ran the VIN through the My Lexus app and a pop up for a fuel sensor recall came up, does anyone know more about this?
ive also taken a look at an 08 standard spec with only 135k kms in incredibly clean condition. It belonged to a pastor too who was incredibly meticulous with it!
Its now a matter of deciding whether the SE with more features with 100k kms more is worth it when the standard model available has significantly less and is in better condition but fewer features. It's the reverse camera that I'd really like, is it a stretch to have this fitted?
