Default IS350 Radio/Amp Issue

Hey all, the issue is on an 06 is350.
So I have a feeling my factory amp is going out but a second opinion about my experience would be great.
Two days ago I was listening to music and I lost sound to the front speakers and I could only hear the rear. So I turned off the radio then switched it back on only to find out I had no sound at all. As I'm pressing the on/off button between 3/4 second intervals, I can hear like a small crackle ONLY on the front driver side speaker. I kept the radio off for about 10 mins after that. Turned the radio on later and the sound was back to normal. So far the radio has done this to me twice. Input? Thanks

It does sound like amp failure OR moisture getting into the amp area, thus leading to amp failure. Remove the passenger rear trunk plastic piece and take a look in there for an moisture at the bottom of the cavity.

Where is the amp, exactly?

Is it in the back boot quarters?
