1,500 mi out of warranty and no help from the maker.
So there are several aftermarket ballasts available or the stock unit with a fraction the warranty period.
OEM has the 81107-53501 model for $244 through Toyota or go aftermarket through Rockauto.
Any thoughts on 1/2 the cost, double the warranty? Maybe brands to stay away from? The rightside module ignites but is not as bright having an amber hue. The warmer the ambient temp, the sooner it shuts down. On a hot night it could be as little as 10min and its off. It restarts if turned off but its rather pointless.

And yes, I'll be looking for the bumper skin thread soon.

Its a shame the Maker didn't do the right thing, but had they, I wreckon the second owner of the 350 would still be the second owner!
