Default Power steering control module

Hello everyone this is my first time creating a thread. I was recently having trouble with my power steering control module on my 2006 is250. I found a used one on eBay for 149.99. My concern is that when it came in it was from a 2008. Would this still work for my car. Sorry if this was a dumb question??

Probably would work, but if I were you, I'd try and find an IS-F steering control module. It is a bit more expensive but will greatly improve steering feel.

They are all interchangeable. Depending on the model you have. There will be stiffness differences : Regular, standard in all non F sport trims, F Sport Package. ISF 08-10, 11+ will be stiffer depending which one you get. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Im actually selling one on eBay too. Pm if interested

If it's already been on a vehicle it doesn't. Unless of peace of mind take it to the dealership and get it done.
I got my used 08-10 ISF ECU from a member here. Never got it recalibrated.
