Hi guys,
would like to ask you for advice. I have 2007 IS250 AT and my differential is no longer working properly. So I decided to buy another one. Stickker on my diff says it is Y55. I found some diffs on ebay but they are Y54 from manual transmission. The question is if Y54 can be used on automatic transmission.

No. The diff from a MT cannot be used in an AT 250. The ratio is different. See...

As long as they were both RWD, it can be used. The ratio will be slightly different, but functionally it will be fine.
