Hello,

I changed my IS original yellow mirror lights to LED lights. It was very hard to get the mirrors out and had to squeeze very hard. Unfortunately I damaged the first mirror and the mirror color is now pinkish-viloet and is very annoying with the sun. Second window went a litte better but when i tried to squeeze the mirror back in then the other mirror also got damaged. I attached 2 pictures. From Picture it doesn't seem so bad but with the sun it is quite annoying.

What are my possibilities? Do I have to change the mirror or are there any cheaper possibilities?

You can just replace the mirror/glass part.

I don't think changing the mirrors are expensive. Under $100 for sure.


You probably bent the mirror so light reflects differently off it.

You most likely damaged the dimming portion of the glass. You can find them used one eBay for about $100. Make sure whatever you replace it with is off a 06-08 IS250/350.

You "could" place a light tint film over the glass.
