I have an 2006 Lexus IS 250 with nearly 172,000 miles on it my sport mode does not work, when I have it in drive the green light does not come on as well when I push it over to sport mode the light comes on and says it's in gear 4 after 1 second the sport mode light on dash goes off. Has anyone had this problem I was thinking neutral saftey switch but don't wanna guess?

Pull the console apart and test the microswitch that gets activated by pulling it left. If you have Techstream, you can watch it on the display.
