I have rear lip with a Greddy SE exhaust that is kinda higher than my previous F-sport exhaust. I'm pretty sure Greddy designed the exhaust on a car without a rear lip as the tips kinda high up. Currently driving around without my rear lip since it got a bit damaged. Just need it lower by about half an inch.

My question is what would be the more ideal way for me to go about this?
1) Buy 6 extended muffler hangers
or
2) have a muffler shop weld newer hangers?

Trying to do a clean route but I'm conflicted. Thanks in advance.

Maybe you can pull on the existing rubber hangers to get them to stretch a bit? The cheapest way I see would be to buy longer rubber mounts if they exist.
