Default finally did it ! (Newport Lexus)

hello clublexus !!

just a short story i finally did it and got my valve clean out at Newport lexus^.^ Peter Perez is the man for hooking me up and giving me a dicount !
i kno stealership but F it i love this car and the rough idle got to me and all that nonsense the total was $527 compare to $720 cant complain

NO MORE NEEDLE DIPPING AND ROUGH IDLE !!

how did they end up cleaning the carbon out of your valves?

And any before or after pictures of internals?

they just scraped it or something with chemicals i did have the photos but i didnt save it

i told them to do walnut blasting but they never heard of it

doing this every 2 years

Thats no bueno. The reason i ask is exactly that. Shop i went to had 2 lexus master techs, and if you got that top end,super seafoam theme. The consensus was that some carbon will seep into internals and may build up deeper dowm the rabbit hole causung more issues later.

Something to keep an eye on. Glad the rough idle is gone though!

ill worry about all that when it happens lol im just relaxed and know my car isnt going retarded anymore

running redline cleaner when my gas is empty to help with all the crap

A dealer never heard of walnut shell blasting? That's what you do to properly remove carbon buildup in cars. I wonder what they actually did, just run the chemicals or take the engine apart and clean it manually
