Amplifier: IS250 (2007) 86180-53110

Model: IS250 (2007)
My location: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Issue: amp did not worked (not Mark Levinson)
Local Lexus dealer quotation for repair: $975.00
Solution: Send the amp for repair to United Radio in Syracuse, NY.
Paid: $225 plus $65 for shipping roundtrip = $290.00
Savings: $685.00
Time: took 5 days total

is it hard to just bypass the OEM amp and connect an Aftermarket unit?

Not advised as the OEM amp and speakers are equalized to each other and to the interior acoustic characteristics of the car.
