Default Need Help with my 07 IS250

Hello i recently purchased a 2007 Lexus IS250 that was somewhat parted out. I have been looking for a complete dash but i cant seem to find one for my car that is complete... also i started researching and found out that the dash for 06/07 came with stick dash which are being recalled to my understanding. seeing that the car i purchased didnt have the dash i wanted to make sure that i didnt buy one with with a sticky dash... my main question on this is can i use the dash from a different year to use in my 07.... thanks in advanced for your feedback

I believe the dash part number is 55400-53906, that part number applies to all years IIRC so any year will work. You can just go to the dealer and get on the list for the recall, though be prepared to wait a good year or two (same for the door panels). Don't waste your time with a used dash, it'll most likely have the same problem (if it doesn't already).

I believe Lexus is reimbursing people who paid for it to be done at their dealer if you just want to pay them to do it instead of waiting, but I'd contact Lexus corporate first to ask about that. If you really want to DIY, it's a very involved job.

Well I wanted to go that route but seeing that I don't currently have a dash in the car I don't think the dealership route is the way to go for me

as far as years I was told the 09 and up won't fit my car... any feedback on that

AFAIK, as mentioned above, only the center vent was changed. 09+'s still use the same part number.
