Please help! Sunroof issue
 

This literally just happened and I have now Idea what to do; I've scoured the online forums and have tried the recalibration method with no luck.

The issue is that the sunroof does not close all the way, it is not flush with the roof and when I do the tilt option, it doesn't open, it will barely be about 1/4 inch above the roof.

The recalibration is not working on my vehicle. I've held the button down in all positions for 30+ seconds. It never goes through any type of cycle, does nothing.

Any suggestions? Should I unplug the battery? Am I dong the recalibration wrong?

This is a 2008 Lexus IS 250

I'm placing the sunroof on the auto option. Then I hold the auto button for 30+ seconds.

So will it slide all of the way back nicely, but just won't close 100%? I assume you've tried turning the dial in an attempt to help it close as well?
