So I got a text from a guy who's car I drove. He tells me someone is coming over tomorrow to pick up the car. I keep thinking I can do better than his 07, no offense to those who have 07s. He originally told me he had ML sound and it has very limited options.

Anyhow, I found a 2009 and thought, hmm, would rather have an 09. Unfortunately, it is completely base. So I wondered if I could buy a used stock center console, install a factory backup cam, and have a working Cam and Nav.

in my opinion 07 09 are the same the different between 06-08 and 09-10 is the LED side mirror but if you say 2011+ then it's a huge different, speak of NAV and backup CAM yes you could do that but will be a huge headache to run wire i rather go for the one already had the NAV system.

If i were you i go for Fully loaded Premium package over a BASED model, i just traded in for my 2011 AWD 350 there are 2 2013 AWD 350 but based so i chose 2011 with every option equipped, mine have ML system DVD audio, memory seat, tilt steering wheel, parking sensor, auto windshield wiper detect when it's rain, Shade curtain at the rear windshield, auto leveling audio volume, little bit high km but i got what i like.

Yeah don't waste your time converting everything over just find a model that has all the options you want.
