Default Painted Lobster Claw Wheels

I have a 2010 is350 with the lobster claw style wheels which I actually think are pretty nice. I am curious if anyone has had these rims pwdercoated or plasti-dipped in a dark gray/ gunmetal color. I think theyd look pretty good in a darker color.

Sean those are not the lobster claw wheels, but OP DO NOT plasti dip them gunmetal there isn't any uglier color then that, if you will end up plasti dipping your wheels either do black or anthracite gray.

I personally dislike plastidip because of how "cheap" it looks. If you want your wheels to look nice just get them powder coated. Not only is the finish nicer but you can select from a Wide array of colors.

Yup. $300 to do it once right or $60 to realize it looks cheap after a month then consider powdercoat

What colors did you use? I have been thinking about doing mine for a temporary solution as well because the original finish isn't all that great. I was looking at doing the black with silver metalizer. I don't like they way the plain black, gunmetal and anthracite looks, I think it just kind of looks like cheap bs as well. But your finish doesn't look bad.
