Default Need Torque Converter and CV Joins

To make a very long story short, I was an idiot and ran my 2008 IS 250 AWD out of oil, completely, the way this happened, I have no idea. Regardless, I have to get it fixed and have almost completely done so. Clearly I had to buy a new engine, and that was a pretty penny. So here's where I am now and where I need help.

The CV Joints also went bad when I ran out of oil because they run through the oil pan, I have been trying to not buy the Lexus OEM CV's because they're super expensive, I have been searching online and have came across nothing that I need, I need both and I can only find the drivers side CV, so can someone here try to find what I am looking for as far as the CV's?

Another thing that went bad that I CANNOT find anywhere is the Torque Converter, the OEM Lexus one is about $800.00 and I am trying to find a different one online for cheaper, if I cannot find one for below that price I am just going to replace the whole tranny, which I don't want to have to do, I have looked all over the place and can only find a converter for the RWD version of the car and I have the AWD.

In conclusion, can somebody find the CV Joints and Torque Converter online and link me to them? I am not looking for the OEM models, but if I have to go that route I will.

Thanks,
Zach
2008 Lexus IS250 AWD Owner.

I'm confused on how you believe that the CV joints in the front half shafts (both sides) could have gone bad due to a lack of engine oil. Were you told this by someone or something?

Also, same question regarding the converter.

Have you tried ebay or your local junk yard? I just did a quick ebay search and got lots of results for cv joints and axles.

Your front CV joints, how did they go bad from no oil? what really caused car to fail engine oil.

Front CV joints can be rebuilt, Its cheaper and better than aftermarket parts

How did you run out of oil and not pay attention to the light on the dash that says low oil ?
