cooling seats don't seem to function
I bought my wife an 08 IS250 with low miles-40k. I may switch her cars and give her my Audi and wanting to know did the cooling seat function really ever work in these cars? I don't feel anything coming out when on high. We live in AZ and this would be a great feature if it really worked.

Mine works like a charm. Not sure what's going on with yours. I can definitely feel it even on 1-2 setting.

They're not actually cooling, just ventilated seats. If you can feel hot air, it's working as designed.

He is correct. However I know how hot arizona gets and if you do not care for your back seat passengers, then theres a trick you can do. Under your seat, driver and passenger seat you should notice an air duct. This duct serves as the air vents for your AC controls for the back seat passengers feet. If you place a cardboard box to kind of block the air duct, and redirect it so that the air now goes vertical, the air will now travel to your seat :) |
^ that is definitely an evil and awesome hack. Since nobody sits in my back seat I might be tempted to try this in my spare time
