My story: Hopefully it helps someone out.
I am in interior Alaska and the only Lexus dealer is in Anchorage. Turns out my car has 9 outstanding recalls!! My car is an '06 IS350, it's a Zone A and it's been in Hawaii for 11 years, so that airbag is obviously shot. After pulling some strings, I was able to get a complementary rental (Toyota Rav4) until all the recalls are done. My car might have to be shipped to Anchorage plus or minus.
The other thing to note, I ordered my dash in Servco Honolulu back in '15 and it took almost 2 years to come in, by that time I was already in Alaska. So, it looks like they reordered that a few months ago here. Overall, I am very happy with the service I've received. My Lexus can only be realistically driven here May-Sept, that's why I only jumped on this now.
Got the passenger airbag replaced last friday 5/12/17. Was given a loaner vehicle for the day. Upon picking up the car I noticed a full tank of gas was given and they did not damage the dash replacing the passenger airbag.

I took your advice and called Lexus of Madison. According to them my car is recall free.
My airbag is currently being replaced. Got a 2017 NX loaner for a few days.
My service advisor told me they take out the airbag through the hole where the glove compartment is (They remove it), so your dash will not get damaged.
The dealership will perform the recall work if you show them the REMEDY NOTICE letter which is usually received after the INTERIM NOTICE letter. Make sure you provide the REMEDY letter! Depending on which zone your vehicle falls under, it may take months before you can set up a service appointment due to the extent of this defect. It took two days to complete the work on my IS and the dealership provided a loaner free of charge.

by any chance is 2012 on this list? When I check my vin it says no it had only 2 recalls which was wiper arm nut and trunk release latch I believe anyways both done. Just curious to know if there's any other hidden ones thanks

I have a 2012 and I received a letter about the air bag recall for the passenger side. Unfortunately because there's only dealership here in a Hawaii I'm into my 2nd month of waiting for my call to come in and get it replaced.

wow so am I supposed to just wait for the letter or contact lexus corporate. At my dealership 0 recalls comes up.
