Just got my car back after a week. They replaced the airbag, no damage to the dash. Just small scratches . They also did the csp for carbon build up. They replaced the piston rings. Fresh oil and coolant included and a free tank of gas.

Got mine replaced several weeks ago. I also noticed they messed up the dashboard area near the stereo controls. Shows yellow internal material due to some chipping. But I'm going to get the melting dashboard issue replaced so it shouldn't be a problem.

FINALLY!! Got mine replaced over the weekend. Didn't notice any damage to my dash other than the ones that were already there from getting the frozen Nav screen replaced. Gotta give props to Lexus of Pleasanton for coming through! This wasn't the closest dealership from my place, but it was all worth the trip.

Got mine replaced a few weeks ago, no damage to dash, but now when driving I have lots of creaking sound from the passenger's side of the dash. It's to the point of where it's very annoying. I wonder if I take it back if they would do something. After all my car is old, 2007, but this creaking was not there before.

Got mine done yesterday here in Lexus of Orlando! My dash had a couple chips by the AC vents above the radio but not to bad. They went in to clean out the carbon build up and said that the car was good and didn't have any. It had been done before I got the car but they wanted to make sure there wasn't build again.

Got mine replaced last week. No damage on the new dash that was replaced 7 months ago when I stopped driving it.
The auto lights do not work. Taking it back, not sure now if it is because of the airbag, or they forgot to plug back when the dash was replaced. Since i really had not driven the car, i had not realized the auto lights were not working.

Anyone from the northeast get there's done? Specifically MA area. I'm a little concerned letting the dealer up here take my dash apart because I'm not sure how much experience they have on dashboards. I bought my car from the south Zone A so it needs to be done.

You will just have to trust your local Lexus dealer. If you have a second Lexus dealer, investigate which one is more reliable. Good luck. And finally do not settle for anything else than a perfect job.

Thanks mandyfig for the idea. I'll check reviews of dealerships. But in the end your right just have to have faith it will come back good. If not u better believe Ill be back. Good luck everyone with your recalls.
