I think the word "retard" is more offensive than accusing women of being bad drivers. I am sure there may be members here who may have special needs children or someone close to them. This is the only word I am PC about. But back to post; I am sure it sucks to have something youve put so much of your heart into , time and money , does suck . Mustang drivers. SMH
Hate to hear that happened to you bro!! Seems as if everyone had a lil something go on today.. I had a lady almost run me off the road today and I curbed my passenger side rear rim.. Are you going to let the insurance fix yours and keep it??
I recently got in one too. Having a little trouble with the insurance payout atm as well.
Was on the highway in bumper to bumper traffic. Guy in front moved a bit and stopped. I moved and stopped. Behind me there was a E450 shuttle bus that didn't stop in time. He did get down to a reasonable speed, but his larger mass carried me forward in to the pickup in front. "Minor" damage to both ends of the car, but both fenders will likely need replacement as well as the front grill which is cracked.
Here is where it gets weird. The pickup in front of me took off in to traffic instead of pulling over. The bus pulled over, but once he found out I called the cops he was completely unhelpful. I snapped photos of the bus and my car, got his plate, but would not give me his license or registration. Then 3 mins before the cop arrived, he took off.
The officer gave me the registered owner of the bus, which I was able to track back to the limo service that owns it. But the limo service claims to not have the drivers license number on record, they did give me his phone number, but hes not returning my calls.. Seems suspect that a limo service does not have the license number of one of their drivers.. From the call it also sounded like they knew nothing about the accident and started playing defense after I informed them. Especially once I told the guy on the phone, who was the registered owner, that without the drivers info the cops are listing him as the driver and its listed as a hit and run.
This all happened a week ago, and the insurance is saying they are still waiting to hear from the driver, who was not returning my calls either. And that is where I currently stand with not getting repairs done.
