yeah, i just dont understand why i went ahead and drained the wrong pan is there any way to fill it back up? Or does it have to be done at the dealership? Did i drain the transmission fluid completely, or is there some fluid left in it so it would allow me to drive to the nearest dealership?
about 2 qts came out. Just got the fluid and i'll attempt to to put the same amount back.
Put back the drain plug, now open up the allen bolt next to it, that the overflow tube so it will let you know when you have enough in the pan. Now towards driver side of the pan there a bolt you open up to fill, it has a WS stamp on the bolt. fill it till you see it comes out the overfill tube. Tighten up overfill bolt and the fill bolt and your done. Make sure you use Toyota ATF WS fluids

Good luck
Yes, thank you! I did exactly that and took about 2.5 qts to fill it up. I guess you gotta pay for your own mistakes. In my case it was $70 worth of the transmission fluid, and wasted Sunday's afternoon.
Anyways, thanks again
