09 IS250 HID(AFS), both stopped working

Long time member, first time poster.
I have the 09 with HID afs. Both worked fine. I went to leave my house the other night, turned on my headlights and got nothing. I have high beams parking lights turn signals etc.
I checked the relay, fuses, bulbs. Everything checked out. Anyone have any ideas. I think it would be odd that both balasts would go bad at once. I'm going to take both housings out in the morning. Do I check the voltage going into the balast ? I have no idea where to go from here. I have to drive to work at 4 am Monday. I hate to risk a ticket running just fogs and parking lights. 😁

Took the front off and both lights. Traced down the problem. Thanks anyway

What was it?

It was really weird. Traced power all the way through both balasts, both had out put. The passenger side bulb had blown, and the hid socket on the drivers side had a bad connection to the bulb. Something is wrong with it because I had to remove the whole light to get the socket seated correctly. I'm really baffled as to why this would all happen at once. Hadn't been driving fast, hit no bumps, or jarred the vehicle in any way.
