It cracked a while ago and since it's down and the cowl had to come off anyway, it seems like the right time to do it.

Thanks, connected the TechStream to it last night to do a health check and figure a few things out. More to come!

Well a couple major milestones have been passed today. After filling all of the fluids and bleeding the clutch it fired up first try! I even managed to drive it inside the shop a bit! It's slowly coming together! After driving the car a bit I think I will need to adjust the clutch pedal a bit as well.

See it in action in this super lame/awesome video!

I'm getting so excited to be able to properly drive it and feel what the car should have felt like from the factory.

Jeff

Pretty unreal to hear that it fired up with no issues the first time. Congrats! Can't wait to hear about it on the road.

This is perfect!!!
I just started looking into these cars and realized I wanted a manual but with 300+ HP.
This is great!

The option Lexus never gave us !

The IS350 is already kickass to drive with the Autobox.. I could only imagine how the 6 speed must feel giving you full use of the engine.

Please do a review or a VIDEO review of the car.

What year is your 250?If it's 06 like mines you need all the VDIM ecus also to make it run.I m in Athens Greece and I really want this swap also but the best thing is to find a reck 350 and swap everything! If yours have VDIM of course it's a lot easier. If you don't mind me asking how much will an IS350 engine cost ?

Unfortunately I think it doesn't my friend.VDIM is an Ecu that controls all the car ecus or something like that but all IS350 has it so in order to make this swap work Jeff told me that the car should have it.The 250s started having VDIM from 2008 I believe.Jeff wasn't sure if it s really needed but I wouldn't try it if I wasn't sure.It still can be done but you have to find everything from a VDIM and take out the dashboard to install it.If 350 was an option in Europe it would be easier to find a wrecked one and swap everything from it.You may have better knowledge my friend if you have done other swaps I m just trying to help because I really want to do this too !
