My 2008 is350 with 125,000 miles supposedly had the NAV system fixed by the dealer by the previous owner. It's worked fine for about 6000 miles, but when I tried to tell the system I just got an oil change it stopped working normally partially frozen. I pressed the side INFO button, maintenance, and then tried to select an oil change and it went to the screen to select a language. It's stuck there. I can press INFO again, press the screen for maintenance, and it goes to the language screen again. Pressing anywhere on the 'select language' screen then doesn't do anything.

The side buttons around the NAV system all work and change the screen display.

What are the steps to try to recover from this? Disconnect the battery for a while? I've ready about taking the system out to get it fixed a while ago, but hope to try all other steps first, of course.

You have touchscreen problem like a lot of other member has. You could use DIY frozen navigation fix to fix your.

Thanks. Since it accepted input for a few screens, it wasn't sure if that DIY applied in my case.

Take video of it so we could help you out better. What version of your DVD MAP?
