I've owned a 2002 IS300 MT and currently have a 2008 IS250 MT, which I picked up earlier this year.
Exterior Looks, I prefer the IS250. Both stock and aftermarket options
Interior, I liked the Is300 a lot better..
although my 300 was fully loaded, which was tough to find on the manual
Driveability - the 300 was a much better car, more fun to drive, stiffer ride and less roll in turns, smoother shifts, I had zero issues with maintenance.
If just looking for a FUN car to drive, I'd go with the IS300.
