With getting married and the problems I'm having with my 2006 IS250 AWD (116k miles) am looking to trade in and move onto a crossover / suv.

Did one of those online trade in value things and for my car looks like it's worth about $ 5,000. Not really what I was hoping for. The inside is in pretty good condition. Outside could use some work though.

Curious to know what others got for their ISx50 when trading in.

You will get more money for your car by selling it privately and save even more buying privately. A few months ago, I was offered $9k for my fully mint conditions, loaded IS350 with 108k on the ODO. Needless to say i still have the car.

I spent almost that much on scuba diving equipment. For $5000 I do not think it is even worth selling. You might as well keep it as a beater.

With finding parking and the insane insurance we pay here in NYC (specifically the Bronx) I am better off getting rid of it.

Your car is worth $8,000.
You can sell it privately for $7,000 after all the headache.
Trade-in value is around $6,000.

Take it to carmax and see what they can give you.

I can give you $5k without looking at it...as long as you pay shipping or deliver it to my doorstep.

I got 10.5 for my 2007 IS250 private seller. Lexus dealer offered 8k. 107k on it. I needed to get into an SUV as well bought 09 RX. Last week.

I traded in my 08 IS 250 awd back in May and i got 10,000 CDN for it. I had 110,000km on the ODO.

09 AWD 250.. 108,000 miles 11,000 but I had a accident in it so I think that might of affected my trade in value!

Last year I got $18K cnd for MY08 is350 with 85,000 kms (not miles). And that was at a BMW dealer...

Keep in mind every city/state has a slightly different market. +/- $5K can be expected.

Fawk I'd get peanuts then lol 2007 is350 Luxury Package creeping towards 180k by fall... guess I'll have to keep her for a side piece when i upgrade. No sense in letting something this reliable go if I don't have to. To the ref in New York just get it off your hands and enjoy all that public transportation ^_^

More numbers from those who have done this please... these numbers are shocking but I guess it's cause I haven't asked yet.

I had my car appraised at carmax not to long ago (about 2 months or less). Just out of curiosity of course because I like to know what my car is worth.

My car is a 2006 IS350 Sport Package with 104k miles at the time and they said they would give me a trade in of $10k. Previously when it had about 94k miles a few months before that they said they would give me $11.5k.

They said the value dropped a lot because of how fast I'm racking up the mileage but oh well I guess lol. I love my car
