Default Good bye

well folks we sold the car and have moved on.

I enjoyed the car, but I won't be in a hurry to buy another lexus. The seating hurt both our backs on longer trips and it developed too many rattled by 58k

You cannot complain about the MPG in the AWD. You can complain about visibility, was like looking out a tank.

Wish you folks all well. Someone will get a well cared for car. Car max gave me more for the can then even the lexus dealer would.

good luck, I will be getting rid of mine too. I really like my car but I'm sick of buying new tires due to lexus damage.

Mine is about to hit 55K and it's first rattle popped up this week. I thought it was weird.

Perhaps I have been spoiled by other luxury cars, my first car was a used Acura Legend, loved that car. I find these Lexus models to be top notch, though nothing is perfect...I sincerely believe that most of the people that say such things have more money than sense. Cars get old, they start to rattle, you look around and find what's rattling, fix it, and be done with it. RWD cars with a lot of power tend to eat tires, again a simple reality. I suppose you pick your battles, if another make/model does better in attributes such as the ones you are complaining about, by all means go with them. I bought my car at 41k miles and couldn't find anything that combined sport and luxury anywhere close to the IS350, the only cars that could even touch it were the WRX Sti, and wow...talk about a rattle trap! Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, mostly just thinking out loud here.
