HID fog lights
#2
I have used VVME HIDs in my Audi for years, it's very easy to do:
1) Remove OEM bulb from fog light module
2) Put HID bulb into fog light module
3) Mount ballast for HID near Fog light module
4) Plug HID bulb into Ballast
5) Plug HID Ballast into OEM Fog light wiring
PS you get the most usable light in the 4300K range.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor

It's hard to get 100% match on color temp but the best you could do is buy the same brand low beam and fog HID bulbs in the same tempature. Usually most people don't buy the bulbs at the same time or even the same brand so there is a slight... very slight color difference as long as you stay within the same color temp and ballast wattage. 5000k bulbs 35 watts will get the most light without damaging the housing... 65 watts could give you problems... but i like my 3000k fog lights with 5000k low beams
