I purchased a polyurethane rear lip spoiler back from Amazon back in December. I got it painted and was about to install it when I noticed that 1) there is no harness to drill the spoiler into the trunk and 2) double sided 3M tape did not stick onto my trunk. I did notice that the spoiler curves slightly downward on the end, whereas it should curve upwards. When the sides are forcefully curved upwards, then the center of the spoiler does not touch the body of the bumper, it sticks out slightly.

HELP?

you must remove all polish, wax etc for 3M double sided tape to work properly. Most use Isopropyl alcohol to great effect. Pictures would help for the other issues.

You should ALWAYS test fit body panels prior to painting. If you bought from amazon, you bought a replica, which predominantly fit terrible. You will have to take the rear lip to a body shop to fit properly.
