It does matter in that when I have a TPMS failure, I would like to be able to tell which one it is.

Any secret to this? I tried plugging in battery charger and lap top and I still get "Terminate Initialization by connecting TC and CG of the DLC3 for 30 seconds"

Any other ideas?

Where did you buy OBD2 cable? Amazon, Ebay, China? That is the issue.

Discount tire will program TPS for free. I had a mobile tire shop install some Denso's on my new wheels. Turns out they forgot their tool too program. After work I just drove to DT the whole ordeal took a few minutes. I don't recall them asking for ID'S. It looks like the scan tool did all the work.

Do the sensors have to be "activated"?

I just tried some generic ones on my wifes camry got the same error message, I ordered Corista mobile hopefully this will solve all my problems.

Thanks

On my Denso's they had a sticker. I think you add air to tire then release to initialize. I'm looking online if I find anything I'll post back here.

OEM Denso comes activated. Others didn't but it's easy to activate them, just bring the psi down to less than 10 and they will wake up.

I got the Qwik Sensor from Napa and took the car to Discount Tire to replace the TPMS. They could not program it. Now I am trying to find a place to program it.

I have a Tech Stream cable. Where would I get the Tech Stream software?
