So it took a total of 10 days for my new dash and all 4 door panels to arrive, I just scheduled my installation for next week. I am totally shocked at the turn around time with this....

My door panels are in finally but it's still missing the driver side one. I'm gonna drop the car to have them replaced no matter what before they disappeared again. It's Christmas in February even though not complete.
I asked the dealership if the I qualified for the dash and door panel change. And they said i did not. My problem is, I need these changed out. As the weather starts to warm up, I notice a strong chemical smell when the sun is out, and the dash starts to warm up. The smell is strong. And it makes me wonder if the toxins from the dash, as it is warmed from the sun, are getting harmful to me?
What I'd like to know is, if there is anyone denied the dash swap, and are having trouble with the smell, or have replaced the dash on there own. Please let me know what I need to do!
Did you contact them too late? I don't remember if I smelled that fume from the old dash but what bothered me the most was the sticky feel and the glare from it when I drive in a very sunny and hot day.
