I was wondering if I install the Invidia Midpipe, will it pass Smog check and will there be any check engine light go on?If it does,IS there any way to shut them off?
I brought the midpipe to a Muffler shop,They say is illegal and cant pass smog and engine light will turn on.I was confused.All i want is the car sound louder,and no engine light on.then All good.

Currently, I have 08 Is350,With takeda Intake,Meistershaft Exhaust,and F sport BBK.no Coilvers.
Anyone experiencing these issues?
Any advice will be appriciated.

The muffler shop is just telling you that cause they don't want to install it and be held liable.

^Bingo! Just like Discount Tire not wanting to install a stretched-tire setup onto a customer's car...liability reasons.

Go somewhere else, or your best bet...do it yourself! Purchase four jack stands and DIY!

installed the midpipe today.sound awesome and loud.
will do a video on invidia midpipe,takeda intake and meistershaft GT haus Exhaust.
