Default Invidia midpipe clunking noise from hitting sway bar, I think

I get this metal to metal clunking noise and I'm almost certain it's from hitting this black bar. Is this the oem rear sway bar? The guy lifting my car said I don't need the bar and he could take it out since it's causing the noise. So I'm coming to you guys. What is this thing and did you guys have the same noise

Only hear it when I hit a crazy dip

You dont really need it but it adds to the rigidity of the car so personally i would keep it. I would personally just ask a muffler shop to shorten the hangers to the midpipe so that it sits higher up not on top of the that bar. Or inspect that its properly installed because something is obviously hanging low

I had that same noise. Took that bar off about a year ago and didn't really notice any different.

I removed mine because of the same issue and haven't had a problem. If you want to keep the bar, buy some longer bolts and some washers, in order to move it lower.

I do not, but you can remove one and carry it to Lowes or Home Depot and check it. Likely 10 or 12 mm.

I'll just buy both! I don't have a jack at home so it's kinda a hassle. When I put on my wheels I'll also deal with the problem. Two bird one stone.
