Default Megan UCA bolts

So i got Megan UCA for my IS250 and this is what they look like
Megan UCA bolts-imagejpg2_zpsa41591c4.jpg

However in this picture from a member FS thread the bolts are screwed in from the other side

My question is, which way is the correct way?

IIRC pink ones are the older ones. The blue ones are the most updated ones. Maybe they revised the design so you could change it without taking off your whole assembly?

I really don't think it matters which way the bolt heads are facing...but for the heck of it, send us a pic of the underside of the blue ones

Mine are like the top blue set as well, purchased new.

I don't even know why you would install the bolts from the bottom. The exposed metal part of the ball joint is threaded. If you put the bolts through the bottom you have to add nuts on the top, and the bolts are close enough together that you would be hard pressed to get a wrench over the nuts to adjust the arms.

I believe its the other way around, the older ones are blue and the pink ones are the newer ones.

They are installed already and I can't see them, once I have the car raised again later this week I'll post a picture.

mine are pink and purchased new with the bolts from the bottom. they don'thave nuts they have a threaded plate that sits on top and all 3 bolts screw into it.

Interesting. I wonder why they made that change since in the new configuration the adjustment bolts are harder to get to. Glad I got the old blue ones!

Like jgr7 said the new version Megan UCA (Pink) has a small silver plate with threading.

The blue ones also come with the plate but it is on the underside of the arm, I was wondering would it be easier to do alignment if the bolts were the other way around like on the pink ones?

They probably flipped the bolt heads to be on the underside because of the possibility of folks hitting the upper part against the inner fender wells and potentially damaging the bolt heads. Looks like there's a tad more clearance with "new" pink version that way.

So I was adjusting my coils today and took a picture of the bottom side of the UCA. It looks like I was wrong in my earlier post, and its actually threaded through instead of the threaded plate.
