Currently driving an IS350 and have always loved the IS-Fcars. Are there any concerns I should be aware of on the F cars? Thanks for the help.

they are very reliable also, first few years had water pump issues like the ISX50s did but not really any common issues.

major changes were in these years:
2010 - gained LSD, flash card based navigation
2011 - gained revised suspension, LED DRL, redesigned gauges, updated steering ECU
2012 - gained .5" wider wheels, gained slightly revised suspension

if you dont plan to track or care about those above upgrades then you can save money and get an 08/09

If you can afford to get a MY 2011 and up, that would be my recommendation for you. As noted above, the major improvements made during the MY 2010 and 2011 are significant enough to make it a comfortable yet very capable track car/daily driver.

if you are interested in its track performance between 2008 and 11, there is a significant decrease in laptime with the updated parts, 2011s have the same laptimes as E9X M3s

I don't know the numbers but I assume it'll use more gas since its an 8 cylinder.

depends, some people still getting 18 city, and similar hwy mpg to a 350

Thanks for the input everyone. Where I live they are hard to find. I did find a black 08 with only 46k miles within 10 minutes where I live. There asking $34,000 and I'm going to look at it this week. We will see how things go.

$34k sounds really good actually. Just make sure they have properly maintained it and have records on Lexus.com to prove it.

I just traded my 2008 is350 for a 2008 IS F about a month ago and couldn't be happier. It is a great car. Both are smokey granite mica but the F has the black interior. It's nice because driving both cars feels similar for normal driving but the
IS F is so much more fun. Gas mileage overall is only down a few miles a gallon with normal highway driving but definitely notice a big difference If you get on it which is tough not to do. I say go for it cause I couldn't be happier.

I just bought a 08' ISF three days ago in Toronto for $30,000 + Tax with only 60,000 KM. I had an IS350 for about 4 yrs, and the ISF was a good transition. The biggest difference IMO is only gas mileage, and a lot more power.
