OK fellas, this happened two days ago.

I was getting out from the gym, and there is a little ramp that I have to pass, so I try to pass it sideways and as I'm joining the road it seems like one of my rear tires lifted a bit on the air and I get the traction control flashing up and feel the engine being cut off because of that. OK, no problem with that, that's how the system works.

But about 30 seconds after that, as i'm cruising, I get the CEL light, traction control light and CHECK VSC light on. I Grab my ELM327 Bluetooth and quickly scan for the trouble.

I got bot P0172 and P0175 (Car running too rich) i didn't feel like anything changed after that, except for the codes showing on the dashboard, so I delete them and so far they have not come back again.

What do you think could have happened guys?

I wouldn't think anything about it, until those codes start coming back more often.

That Bluetooth scanner must be handy!

Yes, this little thing is very handy and it is only 9 dollars, so a cheap solution that could help you down the road.


You use it on your android phone, with an app called Torque. That app offers a lot of things and information about your car, I feel overwhelmed with all the information it provides.
