IS350 OEM wheels on IS250 AWD

Sorry I did a search but didn't find anything. I'm sure this has been done before but wanted to check if anyone has have this particular setup.

My ride is 2007 IS250 AWD. Wheels IS350 18x 8 front, 18x8.5 back.

Tires:
225/45/18 front
255/40/18 back

Diameter difference is 0.23% so this stagger setup should be ok for AWD.

Interested to know if anyone has this same setup. I live in NYC so the roads are not forgiving. Would love to hear your opinion and picture of your wheels and tires if you have the same setup.

Thanks so much! :)

Maybe some other guys can chime in but IMO it should be fine. The new IS2/350's AWD come with that staggered setup with those exact wheel sizes so it should be fine

Yes it come stagger on the new awd but wrong on those tire spec. 225/40 and 255/35 is what they use on the awd spec F sport.

Laobo979,
So will my setup be okay?

I think you should be fine. I too have been researching like crazy about this very topic as I want to do the same thing. It's hard to find people separating the x8 or even x8.5. Only downside is not being able to rotate the tires being they're staggered. I looked up in lexus.com and I also say the F sport awd comes with the same width and offset as the is350 wheels running 225/40 front and 255/35 rears. So if the new 2014 are running the same setup, think it should be fine as the rolling diameter is pretty darn close.
