today my check engine came on 200 miles since I got my car back from lexus the code is p0430 right catalystic convertor.
lexus quoted me 1600 to fix (only 1) should I fix or get aftermarket one?

 

If its the primary cat at the header. It one whole peace with the header. Its not just a simple swap. Usually it take the header out and replace . Or go with ppe headers.

 

i do want to get ppe headers but idk if thats the problem its the front right cat honestly idk how it works if i just slap on the new ppe headers is it going to fix the problem? or do i need new cat conv.and then the headers sorry idk how that works could use some schooling

 

^^^^Install of the headers removes both primary cats. PPE supplies an o2 simulator that fools the ECU into thinking all is well with the primary cats, even though they are gone.

ok sounds great. how would it sound with out the cats? I have invidian midpipe fsport intake and a m2(****ty axleback).
I cant seem to find a good video on youtube with my set up. has anyone have this set up ? how does it sound I cant even imagine how loud
