Default AWD air suspension questions

So I'm thinking about running an air suspension system on my 2011 AWD is250. I want to find out if on installation did you have to drill into the trunk or anywhere else to run the air lines? I helped a friend install his on his subie but we ran all the airlines threw rubber grommets, front and back. I'm hoping to do the same on the Lexus

when I did my IS

I ran everything outside of car. ran along the sub frame and firmly secured. all lines come to back bumper where I mounted my valveing on rear crush guard. there are some grommets in the trunk that you can use to bring in the lines.

second thing is there is grommets on firewall on each side of if you wanted it to pass through the car. I elected the underneath since I don't want hoses and stuff all underneath my dash.

good luck.

Ok thank you! Yeah i live in Vermont so with the winter and all the salt I don't want to run them under the car. I will check out those grommets once I open up the car.

I ran my air lines underneath my spare, there are 2 rubber seals. Choose one or both and take those out. There is a cover for a canister (my IS is a 2012). Unbolt that cover and run the lines underneath along the fuel rails! Good luck!
