Default How to put plastic panel under glove compartment back

Hello all,

Can someone help me put this piece back? It fell off and I have no idea how to get it back on. It wont stay at all... I think there might be a piece that's broken .. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Are there any plastic clips on this piece that might have broken?

I took that part off and put it back in quite a few times. It's hard to make it stay put. Unless something is broken, you can line up the clips with the holes and use your hand as a hammer to hammer it back in by the clips.

I didn't notice anything specific broken... but the clips has these black rubber gunk thing that's kinda glued onto it. I think maybe it used to be something that was attached to the end of the clip that help keeps it in place thats gone now.

This is the black rubber part that I am talking about thats attached to the part I believe clips in so it would stay.

I might be talking out of my butt, but when I removed mine earlier in the week for the footwell mod, there were 4 clips in the front and 2 points in the back that held it taught. Are the two points in the rear still there?

I think that looks fine -- if I remember right. Just need to line them up and punch them in. I don't remember the back, but there should be something there ...

It's like two prongs or something that I can stick into the hole but its just that when I try to punch it in the top... those four clips in the front won't stay in the slots
