Default Lowering 07 IS250 AWD

Hey guys,

So I have done a lot of research on the whole Wobble/shake issues with lowering the AWD IS.

Has anyone not had issues with the AWD lowering issues? What was your setup? I am thinking of getting BC coils with swift springs. I want to be able close the wheel gap to about half an inch or so. So getting springs is not an option for me.

So far things I have read are using RCA blocks to lower the car, using axle spacers, and also using a plate to raise the engine to help realign the axles.

Thanks guys!!

I think it is also important to say how far the highest part of your wheel well is from the ground. AKA are you tucking tire and what size rims do you currently have.

Thanks again!

Plates to raise engine? ive yet to come across that thread. Im pretty low on my awd, i do have the axle spacers and notice vibration still due to my height but im used to it. I cant picture driving this car at stock height so ill just deal with it until I get tired of the car.

I'm currently on Megan springs 1.25 inch drop
Been like that for a few yes now with 19s and 20s no issues but i just picked Megan EZ coils going to go slightly lower. I read that the safe zone drop is 25 inches from the ground to the fender for awd but most people still reported vibrations. I'll let u know next week after I get back from my vacation and dump it
