Default Lost clock display and hazard lights - 2007 IS 250

2007 IS 250

Hi - I recently noticed that my clock display was not working. My hazard lights are also not working when I click on the triangle. I looked for potential fuse issues by pulling out a few but I did not see any burnt out.

I installed an aftermarket bluetooth add on to my car stereo recently. I did not take the battery out when I did not so not sure if that may have caused it. Everything else works normal in the car.

A couple of questions:
1. Which fuse controls that display where the clock and hazard lights switch is?
2. Any other suggestions on what I should be looking for to fix it.

Thank you!!!

Recheck your connections on the radio. There is a white plug on the right side of the radio unit. That same plug can be plugged into your clock/hazard spot causing it not to work.

^Yep! if not a simple fuse, then that would be the next logical thing to check.

GL!

^Ah, makes sense. Good thing it was a free, quick fix.

Can you give me more info on that DICE aftermarket unit too? I want the bluetooth audio function on my 06 IS350 too.

Sure...fire away with questions.

so i have had it for the last few days. The sound is superb and in my opinion as good as it gets to add an aftermarket product to stock radio.

The Bluetooth audio streaming is great. I was able to keep my Lexus built in bluetooth for my phone and only use the A2DP (Audio streaming option) with the dice. It switches back and forth quite nicely.

The installation is quite easy and there a couple of good youtube videos on how to remove the radio from the dashboard. It took me about an hour the first time and I can do it in less then 20 mins now...

If you buy it YOU MUST UPDATE THE FIRMWARE before you use it.

Fleabay had the best price I could find around...

There are a couple of other products: Vaistech and Groom also have BT products that integrate with lexus. My recommendation is stick to the major brand names as they provide firmware updates and support.

Do you have picture of your set up and video showing some of the added features? Sounds kind of fun. Do you know if the device is compatible with 06 IS350 with navigation and Mark Levinson package? I know the Vaistech is not that is why it is out of my option. I want the bluetooth streaming badly lol. I had that on my 12 IS250 but not the 06

I have the same setup (Nav + mark levinson) on a 2007 IS 250. It will work as the compatibility is from 2006-2009. You should be able to see the compatibility chart on their website.

I use the Sat option to connect mine. Pretty easy install. Sorry no pics or videos but you may find some on their website or on the web. The BT audio streaming is pretty cool. If you have an IPHONE it works even better as you can play with your playlists and get digital sound. I have an Android so not that lucky in that area.

SORRY SPOKE TOO SOON: I DO NOT HAVE MARK LEVINSON. I HAVE NAV + REGULAR CD CHANGER AUDIO. I just bought the car a few weeks back so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
