serpentine belt squeaking?

i've noticed my serpentine belt started making a light squeak, at an idle and whenever i press on the gas the rate of the squeaking increases.

is there a bigger issue here that WD-40 cant fix?

is250 2007 AWD
86k Miles

also my car put codes for cylinder misfires and my shop just said my spark plugs were going bad.

never put any dressing. lubricant, soap or junk on the drive belt

Just replace the belt; takes a couple of hand tools and 10 minutes.

The misfire could be spark plug related, but doubtful; pull the CEL code and post the exact code next time.
