That is average if you do a fair amount of city driving.

I can't seem to stay away from the gas station lol cause I can't stay out of the lexus. I drive 80 miles a day mon-fri... start Monday full and depending on how I drive I'm at t he gas station Friday morning or before coming home from work. I'll keep an eye on my tank average and check back on friday. It's full right now.

Monday: tank average 22.3 and mpg average 24.6 going 70ish
Tuesday: tank average 22.4 and mpg average 24.3
Wed: tank average 22.3 and mpg average 24.6
Thurs: tank average 22.6 and mpg average 24.8 ... but on the drive home 23.2 tank average and 26.2 mpg average. Was doing 65 home.

So far I haven't been able to move this much one way or the other. I can't use cruise control much even though 95% of this is on Highway 5.

IS350: 18 MPG 90% city and 10% freeway.

IS250: 22.5 MPG 50% city, 50% freeway. I drive this guy very hard, full rev on a regular basis, it still runs smooth for years as I have done everything on the maintenance including differential oil.

Both cars are driven in the city with the WORST traffic jam in the nation: LOS ANGELES

You are lucky to have such good road like that lol. In Los Angeles where I live especially on the 10 west freeway, a pedestrian can walk faster than a car due to stupid traffic jam every freaking day.

70 mile round trip, but I get on the hwy at 4:45am and get back on at 2:15pm so I miss most of the traffic and also miss sleeping in

28 mpg with those wheel specs? Imagine what you'd get if you ran 17s!

2011 IS350, 14-15 mpg... I only drive in the city and live in Chicago, so there's stop and go everywhere. I messaged 3 other people who live in Chicago and drive IS350, they all said they get 14-15 mpg.

I got 26.3 mpg going 80-85mph in my IS350, doing 70 to get 28 mpg should be easy. Except on I-10 youll get run over by all the 80-90mph drivers

Wow, really??? I thought Los Angeles traffic is worst in the nation. Chicago is worse?? We have bumper to bumper traffic here every day and still got 18 MPG lol.

Haha it's most likely because of the route I take. There's a stop sign or light at every block. Also, I have to take a road that is currently under construction. Cruising around in the IS is no laughing matter when it comes to mileage.
