So I'm currently looking to purchase an Invidia, or Megan mid pipe to custom on my 07 IS250 AWD this summer, but i cannot wait that long, i want my exhaust to be louder now.
I currently have the Lexus HKS axle back exhaust, and I thinking about doing something to my stock mid pipe for the time being.
I am looking at 2 options
1. Delete the resonater
or
2. Delete the secondary cats.

If you guys could provide me with some details, and your personal opinions that would be great!
Im looking for a deep throaty sound i guess, just something more aggressive if you know what i mean.

My main concern is drone inside the cabin, as my car is a daily driver i want to keep that to a minimum.

Seeing that the out-of-the-box options do not work with the AWD models, I'd assume your best bet is to find a good muffler shop and discuss this them.

 

I will be, but I want to know your guys options, and experiences with doing these things.

 

Joe has been my welder for 10 years! I wont let anyone else weld parts for my cars except him! I'll go down there with you this Saturday if you want.... Cheapest option is going to be having the stock pipes stripped of cats/resonators.
