My car looks like it's winking =/
I don't think it's a wiring issue, since the DRL's both turn on during daytime driving. When I switch my lights on (i have an mtec HID kit) the HID's turn on, the left DRL remains on, but the right DRL turns off. Any idea what the issue could be?

There is a ground right next to the washer bottle behind the bumper on the driver side that came disconnected on my car which caused it to not work on the right side. You may want to check that out or maybe a light burned out?

couldn't be burnt out since the DRL's work when the HID's are off... i'll check the grounding

You mean the parking light? On an '06 IS, the DRLs aren't on at all when the headlights are on, but there is a small parking light bulb just above the DRL/Hi-beam bulb.

yes, like tex said, are you taking about the parking small bulb? Because they only run when your headlights are on, so its probably burned out. the DRL lights are the high beams also. so the DRL are the high beams at half power and when your lights are on the DRL shut and the city lights come on.

ah, so it is the bulb. I never realized that the DRL is not the same as the parking lights. Thanks guys
