Default 2010 is250 to 2011 is350

K guys need your advice.

I bought a 2010 IS250 2 months ago and have put 4k in upgrades into it.
Now I want the IS350, I know I should have listened.

Most of the mods can be transferred to the 350. Tires, wheels, cusco struts, camber kit, etc.

The IS350 has Nav, HID headlights, heated seats, park assist, etc. is that luxury package?

My car and this one are SFP with tan interior! Love that setup and some mods just change over like roof spoiler.

What are your thoughts?

The 2011 350 has only 22k miles, half of what my 250 has. I got slotted rotors for 250, those will not transfer right? Or the caliper paint?

Go for it, I believe brake rotors are different but everything you listed should be able to fit the IS350.

I got Road Magnet springs and megan rear camber kit. Should transfer? Although I might switch out springs to coilovers and sell my springs on here. Any takers 2" drop, only put 1000 miles on them!

Brake rotors definitely will not transfer over since the IS350 has entirely different brakes. Much bigger and cooler looking.

As far as the luxury package, does the 2011 IS350 you're looking at have any of these items? Power tilting steering wheel? Headlight washers? Rear sunshade? Memory Seat? Illuminated door sills? Those are signs of a Luxury Package IS350.

Did you test drive both vehicles on the same day? That usually leads most to get the IS350 hands down.

Dealership is not wanting to let go of this thing. No I did not test drive both. I'm definitely leaning towards the switch!

If you can afford the switch, I would definitely do it. It's that much more of a pleasure to drive.

You know what. Keep your IS250 and buy the IS350. You can then drive the IS250 Mon, Wednesday, Friday and IS350 in all other days. That is what I'm doing. I'm pretty big Lexus IS fan huh haha.

Pros: you can test many different mods on 2 cars. You can also appreciate the IS350 because by driving both cars throughout the week, you can actually feel a big difference in term of power. Somehow the IS250 handles better than the IS350 probably due to the sport package vs. non sport i guess.

Cons: $$$$$$

all the reasons i got a 350 vs a 250. the power and braking alone is so much better its almost ridiculous. ive never actually understood when people get the 250 vs 350, then want more power and try to mod the 250 lol
