Question 2007 Lexus IS 250

Hello Club Lexus! I'm looking to join the Club Lexus family really soon. There is a 2007 Lexus IS 250 that i'm looking at right now. It has 118,000 miles on it and I could get it at a price of 14,200 with tax included. My issue is the mileage. I personally don't think the mileage is a problem, but I've been getting mixed opinions about it. My mom says that kind of mileage on a car like that hasn't really been broken in yet. The dealer has pretty much said the same thing and a couple of other people I know have also said the same thing. There are also other people I know who say that its too much mileage and I should stay away and find something with less mileage. Other than that It's a great car, super nice, and runs very well. I have already had a mechanic I know look at it and he says everything is great with the car and he said if I want to get it I should. So I would like so get some of your opinions about it. Should 118,000 miles worry me? Thanks in advance!

I bought my 07 IS250 at 95k miles and still runs good. Only thing I had to replace was the waterpump at 99k. The one concern you will have with the IS250 is carbon buildup issue. Do a quick search on carbon buildup, and you will learn all you need to know. lol

Too those that say it high mileage what do they do when they hit 100k sell and keep buying new ones? I wouldn't worry on that mileage as much.

Awesome! That's good to hear. The Car Fax is clean too. I forgot to add that part in. I actually went and got it today! I'm so in love with this car!
