New to Lexus
I just purchased a previously abused 07' IS250 with 75k on the Clock. It is loaded, Navigation, Sunroof, heated/cooled seats etc... It is black on black and is bone stock. I have owned a bunch
of Mustangs, a WRX and my last car was a 02' Impreza 2.5RS and really never thought about buying a Lexus. I was really looking at the BRZ but after having the 4 doors with the Impreza, and finding the IS250 and taking it for a test drive, bought it. I would like to modify it some but not get crazy with it like some of my other cars.
I am thinking about getting a full exhaust replacing the manifolds with headers and everything else in the exhaust. Getting either a drop in filter or CAI. UI would like to get wheels also, have been looking at some ROTA's in an 18x9 with some 265/40/18 & 245/40/18. Not sure about lowering it because our streets here in new Orleans are crappy.. Maybe coil overs so I can lower it just a bit but still have a stiffer suspension.
I have also been trying the sequence to disable the ESC but haven't been able to get it.
