Default Which spoiler should I get?

I'm looking for a trunk spoiler on ebay and I've come across two different types. There's one style like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321284248595...84.m1423.l2649
and another: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231126690937...84.m1423.l2649

...they are both from oem.thing. Which one looks better? Also what's the difference between ABS and FRP? TIA.

IMO the second one is better. The first looks identical to the FSport spoiler.

ABS is platic, FRP is somewhere in the middle of fiberglass and urethane

I like the first one more than the second.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe
FRP - fiberglass reinforced plastic

Vertex uses a similar method to their kits that's why you can scrape or hit and it won't crack

I went with the second one. I hope it matches the color of my car because the seller said white colors (starfire or glacier frost) and red are harder to match to oem. I wouldn't mind if it's just a very slight difference.

I bought an OEM Thing roof spoiler in SFP and it turned yellow in one summer. I just had it repainted.

I'm going to wait to see how well the color matches first then decide whether or not to get the roof spoiler from them...

You should check out the Wald one. It probably looks the best, IMO.

I'd go with the first one if I had to choose between the two.

The second one looks too much OEM.

If you are ever in the mkt for another spoiler, you should check out Ings+1 or wald.

Good luck with the paint, hope it matches.

The roof spoiler itself looks good, just didn't match well and then the clear coat yellowed.
